Tyranny Spiritual and Natural

The Christian heritage of our nation is undeniable, but many want  to erase it. Our forefathers came to America to escape religious tyranny.  Our nations  founding documents were created with this purpose, that it  would not ever happen again.   The real issue here is not government intrusion on the Christian faith, because by faith and prayer God will prevail.  Our founding fathers knew this.  If it was not for God’s direct intervention on numerous occasions,  we would probably be a colony of England.  The real issue here is the religious tyranny, through gradual deception that keeps many from entering into a place of transformation of the soul.  The religious tyranny our forefathers escaped from is clearly seen and took place through underpinnings of deception and guile over several centuries. Due to the nature of sin mixed with the self referential nature, something starting out very pure can turn out very corrupt.  Read Paul’s epistles.  This was beginning to take place forty years after Pentecost.    Religious tyranny of the soul is simply practicing a form of religion without the  power of God for the transforming of the soul in our very brief life span on earth.  In my testimony on this site I left first love, unknowingly, for the approval of man, through religious works, even with what appears a pure intent.  It had mans stamp of approval on it, but it didn’t have Gods.  This starts the delusion and if we remain in it long enough it will fully corrupt the soul.  Anything that impedes the Spirits work in the transformation of the soul, seemingly innocent, is like a gradual poisoning of the Spirits  work until it is  fully shut down.  The love of God has no self referential inclinations.  It is fully self sacrificial and giving.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 tells us that perilous times will come, with great deception and sin in His own church and these will practice a form of religion, but deny the power there of.   This  power is the power of resurrection life in Jesus Christ.  Galatians 2:20 – I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  In this His faith is working in us through the love of the Father freely given in Jesus Christ. (Gal 5:6)  Matt 22:37-40 – Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’   38) This is the first and great commandment.  39) And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’   40) On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”   This command from Jesus is the vehicle of the grace of God and transformation of the soul of man.  1 Cor 15:53-54 – For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54) So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”  There should be a daily evolution of this taking place in every Christians life.  This alone keeps us out of religious tyranny in our hearts to become a force in this nation for change.  We can never be changed by striving  not do the don’ts and doing  all the do’s.   We also can’t just through up our hands and give in to our lusts and desires as many are giving way to, because in this we totally cast off the transforming power of resurrection life of which He offers us in this life only.   Heb 6:7-8 – For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God; 8) but if it bears thorns and briers, it is rejected and near to being cursed, whose end is to be burned.  Jesus cultivates our lives of obedience and surrender to produce food for the needy and oppressed for the extension of His kingdom on earth, while at the same time, by grace gradually brings the transformation of our soul.  Rom 5:20-21 – Moreover the law entered, that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21) That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.  Change in this nation first starts in the hearts of His people to escape religious tyranny.  These are those who are willing to surrender themselves to the greater calling of Jesus Christ and His kingdom by the power of the Spirit and the purity of His cause.

Ps 125:3 – For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.  This scepter is an symbol of ruling authority.  Who rules over our hearts, Jesus or we ourselves in our own choices?  We can have churches on every corner and hundreds of millions that call themselves Christians, but this question alone will determine the course of a nation.  2 Chron 7:14-15 – If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15) Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.
